A MINIMUM CLEARANCE OF 222 MM IS REQUIRED TO PERMIT PASSAGE OF THE CARRIAGE UNDER THE BED.

INTENDED USE

Treatment of pack pain due to mechanical/anatomical disorders/dysfunctions of the lumbar rachis, according to the directions given below, and in postural education/re-education under the supervision of personnel qualified in physiotherapy, mass-physiotherapy, physiokinesitherapy or equivalent discipline.

PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

With the subject in the starting position, lying supine on the physiotherapy bed, secure the legs to the two anatomical supports. Use the microadjustment function on the remote to raise the subject’s pelvis and aid him/her to find the correct antalgic position. In this position, thanks to deactivation of posterior kinetic chain tensioning and gradual reduction of tension in the quadriceps and the ileopsoas muscle, the lumbar musculature relaxes and vertebral overload and joint compression lessen, favouring rehydration of the intervertebral discs. The position should be maintained for 8-10 consecutive minutes or for intervals of 2 minutes with 30-second pauses, for a total of 3-4 repetitions.
